Administration Assistant

Resource Recovery Group is a statutory local government authority established in 1991 by local governments in the southern part of metropolitan Perth. We deliver innovative and sustainable waste management solutions for the benefit of our communities and the environment.

Position details:
Position type: Permanent full-time
Workdays: Monday – Friday
Hours: 76 per fortnight
Pay cycle: Fortnightly
Location: Canning Vale

About the role
Located in Canning Vale you will be responsible for greeting visitors, raising purchase orders, managing inbound calls, maintenance of various databases, preparing reports, providing recruitment administrative support, and assisting with Weighbridge operations which includes administering Mandalay (weighbridge software).

Skills and Qualifications Required:


  • Minimum three years’ experience in an administrative or similar role.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • High-level of written and verbal communication skills for report writing, preparing agendas, minutes, responding to emails and liaising with customers.
  • Current “C” Class Western Australian Motor Vehicle Driver’s Licence.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medial, and drug and alcohol assessment.
  • Police clearance no older than three months.
