The SMRC has been recognised for its commitment to workplace safety, recently receiving two industry awards.
On 2 April the SMRC accepted a Gold Diligence in safety award from LGIS CEO Jonathan Seth. Mr Seth congratulated the SMRC and RRRC for ongoing improvements, which have resulted in a highly commendable safety rating.
In addition, the SMRC has also received a Gold Certificate of Achievement from WorkSafe.
“The SMRC has a responsibility to ensure the health and safety of all employees, contractors and visitors to our sites. We are proud of our safety culture and were delighted to accept the LGIS and WorkSafe certifications,” SMRC CEO Tim Youé said.
